DaVinci Resolve 21 Beta Update 2 has been released, and I've already updated it. In this video, I will highlight the main new features introduced in this update. Significant changes are seen first in the Photo page. Cropping and rotating photos have been made much smoother. Previously, there were some issues, but these have been fixed, making it work more smoothly now. Additionally, new tools have been added to the Photo page to address resolution and lens imperfections in RAW photo files from cameras like Nikon, Canon, and Fuji film. Now, if you double-click on any effect in the Photo page, that effect will be directly applied to the photo. For example, when I double-clicked here, you can see the effect was applied. The Source Viewer option is also available. If I turn off the Inspector and enable the Source Viewer, you can easily compare your original and edited photos to see the changes. Furthermore, you can now easily switch between photos on the Photo page using your keyboard's arrow keys. In DaVinci Resolve 21 Beta 2, IntelliSearch has been significantly improved. The IntelliSearch mode is now faster and can detect your phrases more accurately. Audio transcription has also seen improvements. It can now better identify and detect different speakers' voices, which was not as good before. Improvements have also been made to the Timeline and Keyframes. The Keyframes Graph Editor has been enhanced; you will now see keyframe curves more clearly. You can modify their point handles more precisely. Moreover, you can now apply 'Easy In' and 'Easy Out' by simply right-clicking. It might have been there before, but I noticed it in this new update: I can right-click on a point to apply Easy In/Easy Out. Previously, you had to install DRFX files one by one. Now, you can install multiple DRFX files and multiple Lottie animation files by directly dragging and dropping them onto the timeline. Improvements have also been made to the Fusion page. Emojis and color fonts will now display correctly according to your project settings. If you create macros in the Fusion page, there are also improvements there. By right-clicking, I can show you: creating macros now offers new enhancements. You can create macros and your own effects more effectively, as you can see the changes here. Besides these, many other improvements have been made. A list is visible on the screen, which you can pause and read. If you liked this video, please give it a thumbs up.
