STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
5 Steps
Step 1: Perform a Basic Key in Fusion
Start by opening your green screen clip in the Fusion page. Add a 'Delta Keyer' node between your 'MediaIn' and 'MediaOut' nodes. Use the color picker in the Delta Keyer's inspector to select the green background. This provides an initial key for the AI to work with.
A rough key is all you need. Don't spend too much time perfecting the Delta Keyer settings, as the AI plugin will do the heavy lifting.
Step 2: Add and Connect the CorridorKey Node
Press Shift+Space and search for the 'CorridorKey' OFX plugin to add it to your node tree. You will need to make specific connections. Connect the output of your original 'MediaIn' node to the yellow (Foreground) input of the CorridorKey node. Then, connect the output of your 'Delta Keyer' node to the green (Matte) input of the CorridorKey node.
Ensure the final output is from the CorridorKey node. The node will process for a few seconds to generate the AI-powered matte.
Step 3: Automatically Remove Tracking Markers
If your footage contains tracking markers you want to remove, select the CorridorKey node. In the Inspector panel, navigate to 'Advanced Options' and expand the 'Advanced Matte Cleanup' section. Check the box for 'Auto Despill/Clean'. This feature intelligently identifies and removes markers from the final output.
This feature is incredibly useful for shots where you've done camera or planar tracking directly on the green screen.
Step 4: Refine the Matte if Necessary
While the AI often produces a perfect result, you can make further adjustments if needed. The plugin includes standard controls like 'Despill' and 'Matte Clip' to fine-tune the edges and color spill of your key.
Adjust the 'Matte Clip' 'Black' and 'White' values to tighten or soften the edges of your matte for a seamless composite.
Step 5: How to Download and Install the Plugin
To get the plugin, go to the official CorridorDigital GitHub page. Scroll down to the releases section and download the 'RTX Installer' for Windows. The file size is approximately 1.5 GB. Run the installer and restart DaVinci Resolve. The plugin will then be available in the Fusion page effects library.
Make sure your NVIDIA drivers are up to date to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.

Corridor Crew has released a major update to their green screen revolution. Previously, you needed to download and set up their model, requiring 24GB of VRAM. Now, they have improved the model, reducing the requirement to just 6GB of VRAM. They've introduced several methods, but the easiest is the OFX plugin for DaVinci Resolve. With this plugin, you can remove a green screen perfectly with a single click. Let me show you how to use it, and then I'll explain how to download it. Here in DaVinci Resolve, I have a 4K timeline at 25fps with a clip from Pexels.com. To start, right-click the clip and select 'Open in Fusion Page'. First, add a 'Delta Keyer' node. Connect it to your media and pick the green color. This works well for clean stock footage but might not be perfect for real-life shots. Now, add the 'CorridorKey' node. Here's the important part: connect the output of the 'Delta Keyer' to the green input of the CorridorKey node. Then, connect the output of your original media ('MediaIn') to the yellow input of the CorridorKey node. It will take a moment to process, depending on your GPU, but it will quickly remove the green screen. This method even works on very poor quality footage. For clips with tracking markers, select the CorridorKey node, go to the 'Advanced Options', and enable 'Auto Despill/Clean' under 'Advanced Matte Cleanup'. This will automatically remove the tracking points, giving you a perfect character cutout. You can further refine the result using the Despill and Matte clip options. To download the plugin, follow the link in the description to the GitHub page. For Windows, download the 'RTX installer,' which is about 1.46 GB. Install it, and you're ready to use it in DaVinci Resolve. If you found this video helpful, please like and subscribe to the channel. Thank you!
